GG’s Arabic homepage: the headline and App Store and Play Store buttons above a phone showing the session balance, with floating cards for a team and the 32 categories

Key Features :

  • Team play, with two teams and the option of a third
  • Fast, live questions that every team answers in the same moment
  • Categories including films, science and football, chosen by each team
  • Points, a leaderboard and a “Man of the Match” for each session
  • A session balance, with extra sessions to buy and discount codes
  • A history of past sessions, ready to resume or replay

Problem :

GG is a group game built to bring friends and family together for sessions of competition and laughter. It is played as a group, so the app has to keep everyone involved rather than leave one person tapping alone.

The product needed a public website to introduce the game and a mobile experience that takes a group from setup to a winner with very little explaining.

GG’s features section: cards for live challenges, real team play, refreshed questions, points and ranking, and varied categories

Solution :

The Arabic, right-to-left website presents the game, its features and its categories, shows the app’s screens, and ends with a contact form and the privacy and terms pages.

In the app, a two-step flow sets up each session: name it and pick its categories, then add the teams and their players. The home screen shows the session balance, a discount code field and the latest sessions, with a full history behind it.

Four app screens: session settings and categories, adding teams, the session history, and the home screen with the session balance

Challenge :

A party game has to be understood at a glance, so each step of setup carries only what it needs, with short notes for rules such as how many categories each team can choose.

Everything also had to work right to left in Arabic, from the website’s layouts to the app’s screens, and stay easy for a whole group to follow.

Summary :

GG is a group trivia game from Entertainment of Things. Teams choose their categories, answer questions, collect points and finish each session with a leaderboard and a “Man of the Match”.

The project brings together an Arabic website built with Next.js and a mobile app interface for setting up, playing and revisiting sessions.
