Problem :

WATD is a Riyadh-based real estate marketing company that markets properties for developers and investors across Saudi Arabia, and it relies on its online platform to reach buyers and meet its clients’ sales goals.

An earlier version of the website already existed. The project was to redesign and rebuild it into a site that presents WATD and its services clearly and lets buyers and investors browse and search the properties it markets.

Solution :

I redesigned the site’s UI/UX in Figma and rebuilt it end to end, with a Next.js frontend for its Arabic, right-to-left interface and a PHP backend behind it.

The new site presents WATD and its services: property marketing, help with buying and selling, and rental management and collection. Its marketplace lets buyers and investors browse listed units, search them by property type, project and price, and see each unit’s price, location, area and rooms.

Challenge :

The site is entirely in Arabic, so the whole interface, from the Figma designs to the final build, had to work right to left: mirrored layouts and navigation, Arabic typography, and responsive behaviour that holds up from phones to large screens.

The property marketplace brought its own complexity: search and filters by property type, project and price, and listings that show each unit’s price, location, area and rooms. Behind it, the Next.js frontend had to be connected to the PHP backend that supplies the listings, property types and contact form.

All of this, design and full build, had to be delivered in four weeks.

Summary :

WATD’s website gives a Riyadh-based real estate marketing company a complete Arabic, right-to-left home online: it introduces the company, presents its services, and lets developers, buyers and investors browse and search the properties it markets.

Designed in Figma and built with Next.js and PHP in four weeks, it brings together the home page, a property marketplace, an About page, a contact page with an enquiry form, and privacy and terms pages.
